"Saturday Night Cartoons" follows an Imaginary Friend named Soul as he traverses a day in his life, experiencing the ups & downs that come with maturity. Concepts ranging from mortality to community and love drift around the album as Soul gets a grasp on what is most important to him.

The concept album represents Louis & Brown's home, a little beach town in North Carolina named Wilmington, and is an amalgamation of their shared experiences.
